I needed an excuse to show a picture of my dog
Truthfully, I don’t take many pictures of myself. If you’re wondering, that’s my fiancé Mike and my fur child Toby (after Toby Flenderson for any Office fans).
I'm Lindsey Rae, a graphic designer, coffee addict, and animal enthusiast working and residing in the Philadelphia suburbs of Pennsylvania. My passion has always been generating new ideas and working hands-on whenever I can. Though I’m a lover of both pixels and print, I'm a paper perfectionist that geeks out over the little touches that can bring a design to life. After interning with companies like Disney and Crayola, I spent about 4 years working in the toy and packaging industry. This gave me the foundation to understanding dielines, mass print production, collaborating with licensors, designing and building showroom and trade show set design, as well as casting and directing photoshoots.
Currently, I’m working at a company called Frankford Candy, located in Philadelphia. I work with an array of licensors both in children’s entertainment as well as existing food brands. From designing the product itself, to what the consumer sees at retail; this role is a full-circle process. I’ve also gained a solid understanding of many FDA requirements and other government guidelines regarding the food and beverage industry.
When I'm not fulfilling my daily design duties, you can find me actively experimenting in the kitchen, hiking, sipping coconut coffee, crafting, reading, drawing, dancing until the microwave beeps, or likely filling my phone with more photos of my dog. I'm inspired daily by my surroundings, nature, and my intense need for seeing the world. I welcome any opportunity to expand my cranium and experiences.
Instead of boring you to death with facts and bullet points, let's chat! If you're looking for a hardworking designer or someone with some extra enthusiasm, I can promise you both. Please feel free to contact me. I look forward to hearing from you!
